Beautiful, but a little boring. I really wanted to like this since it's so artistically and tonally what I wanted out of the next chapter in the batman world. There simply is no BANG! POW! ZAM! to the story. Bruce was enveloped in being the Batman, why? I can speculate, but the movie never really showed me. Batman is on the riddler case, but the mystery never felt clever or suspenseful, it was bit confusing. I wanted more time with the riddler from the riddlers perspective. What made him into a ticking time bomb? I wanted to see his struggles; a game of cat and mouse.

Speaking of Catwoman, I could not have given a **** about that story. It detracted from the focus of the Riddler. However there is so many things they got right. Gotham, the suit, the casting, the mood, the claustrophobia, the corruption, the filth of the city. All exactly what I want in my Batman movie, but the story was Ehhhh...
