Review of The Basketball Diaries (1995) by Guido S — 03 Feb 2014
Leonardo in one of his early roles is a high school student who falls in with the wrong crowd and his life goes down the drain as he starts to experiment with various drugs. It is somewhat interesting, but once he starts to free fall, it doesn't quite have anything left for you and it just feels a little boring at that point.
It's ok. There are a few people who would later be in the Sopranos, but there isn't much substance here.
