Review of The Basketball Diaries (1995) by Vadim D — 20 May 2014

A bit disappointing, was really looking forward to it, it was bigged up to me, and was said to be a true and accurate insight into heroin addiction/drug addiction. But I didn't find it very accurate at all, not all addicts go around mugging people and stealing for drugs,Leonardo did a fantastic job as did Mark Wahlberg for the ages they were they did a good job playing dramatic performances, however at times I felt Leonardo's acting wasn't very convincing and was quite fake and put on in places,over all I thought it was again another film bigged up to be more than it was.
