An intoxicating, frightening and emotionally honest story on the self-destructive impulses of the nascent artist. It was impossible in The Basketball Diaries not to take notice of DiCaprio's seemingly unshaken talent, as he carried the tortures of the drug-addicted damned.
Definitely for Mature Audiences coz' of Graphic Depiction Of Drug Addiction.
