Review of The Basketball Diaries (1995) by Quinn B — 26 Jan 2011

This movie is a true story about Jim Carrol's struggles throughout drug addiction. I personally believe DiCaprio was the best choice to play this role. It was hard to watch at some points, as DiCaprio played his role so well as a hardcore drug addict willing to do anything, and I mean anything for some extra cash to buy some more.

I honestly think this(with the exception of Whats Eating Gilbert Grape) is DiCaprio's acting role. I honestly believe DiCaprio should have won some kind of award for his role in this. I will go as far as saying an Oscar.

This is my favourite movie of all time and favourite acting role of all time! Very and I mean very good movie!
