Review of The Barber Shop (1933) by Kevin N — 07 Sep 2010
Not as radically asinine as some of Fields' other short works, but funny and well choreographed all the same. The funniest bits, as usual, involve W.C. interacting with children. His no-holds-barred approach to dealing with the younger generation is always hysterical and these scenes are no exception.
While the story becomes a little clichéd by his very similar past routines, he finds ways of making this outing worth our while.
