Review of The Barbarian and the Geisha (1958) by Cha T — 28 Jun 2008
An enjoyable film even though I thought John Wayne was miscast. He did a good job with his role but I felt that Gregory Peck or Gary Cooper would have been better. But an enjoyable film and again nice to see John Wayne is something other than a western.
The movie is well shot and has a nice music score by Hugo Friedhofer.
