I saw this at TIFF several years ago with Downey in attendance and remember liking it, but just watched it again and loved it. It's a modern spin on film noir, but is also part comedy, the dialogue is great and so are the performances.
Both Downey Jr. and Kilmer are at the top of their games. The movie really is a lot of fun. Highly recommended!
