If there's one film that brought the spotlight back onto Downey Jr, its got to be Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. A ridiculous yet entertaining crime mystery with great dialogue. Val Kilmer shows his true skin as a great actor and Shane Black wrote and directed a worthy, never dull work of art.
