Review of The Bang Bang Gang (1970) by Matt W — 29 Aug 2013
I finally got around to seeing it. And it is a great time.
It's quick, dark and hilarious.
And includes one of Downey Jr's best performances, and you can see where Marvel started to get the idea for Downey to play Tony Stark himself.
I loved the narration. And all the other Shane Black tropes. Whether it be the Christmas setting, or the style of script.
It's not perfect, with a few of the characters lacking that little bit more character development to make you fully care about them, but that is not the main point of the film.
The film also accompanies 'Seven Psychopaths' perfectly.
If you like Shane Black. You'll like this. And you probably will like this. It's pretty likable.
