Review of The Bang Bang Gang (1970) by Hannah D — 07 Nov 2015
There was potential, but Downey's character lacked the charm the writer obviously thought he had. I would prefer a tangled crime story sans homophobic humor (gay dude kissed me! sooo funny better mime throwing up now) and sexism in the guise of heroism (the character literally is called a white knight by the love interest after 1) sleeping with her friend 2) chalking it up to being drunk and calling friend ugly 3) constant comments about damaged LA women, promiscuous men are normal but women must have been abused).
Gross.
