Review of The Bang Bang Club (2011) by Matt V — 09 Sep 2011
As a movie, THE BANG BANG CLUB is perfectly serviceable - especially considering the low-profile director.
All the actors had convincing South African/Dutch accents - despite more than a few of them being American.
The only parts of the movie that caught my critical eye were the material anachronisms - occasionally having a star use a camera that was newer than the time frame depicted, or sometimes seeing a 2000 or later model year vehicle passing through the background of a shot (most likely due to the smaller budget allowance and not being able to fully secure streets from local traffic).
