Local Hero meets Lost in Translation, while being wholly original. Each character speaks volumes with a simple gaze, or small gesture. It perfectly captures the interactions of strangers (Arab and Jewish surprisingly) who spend one night together and share their pain and loss, and joy and inspiration without hardly saying a word.
This movie truly understands the power of silence. Wonderful.
