I like the Coen brothers. I think they have a unique style and of the films I have seen by them, I have liked most of them. It is unfortunate that I didn't feel the same way about "The Ballad of Buster Scruggs.
" I think the concept of an anthology film is fine if the stories presented are good, but to me, most of them were pretty boring in this one. I also didn't find myself really caring about any of the characters because the movie is set up in a way where there is no time given to care about anyone.
I think the whole thing is shot exceptionally well and it really is beautiful to look at the whole way through. However, the movie was a chore to sit through for me personally, and I find it to be one of the most overrated movies of 2018.
