Review of The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (2018) by Sophia M — 18 Nov 2018
Imagine taking western movie tropes, throwing them onto the campfire, then taking typical story structure and throwing IT on the campfire. This turns a dark eye on the west. Things are not always as they seem, some people never get names, you are dropped in the middle of a story and a scene that sometimes lacks context.
It's a brilliant set of short stories that stretches over multiple peoples lives, with no idea how they got there. Great movie.
