Review of The Bad Seed (1956) by Q Q — 19 Aug 2007
Freaky adaptation of Maxwell Anderson's play (based on William March's novel); strong acting and source material triumph over stagebound direction. Too bad about the Production Code-imposed ending; aside from that, the screenplay is pretty much line-for-line identical to Anderson's play.
