Review of The Bad Seed (1956) by Austin B — 31 Dec 2007
While it does keep you somewhat interested (the idea that a child could be a sociapathic killer), it's very typical of it's era. A lot of one-note performances from the cast (McCormack a clear exception).
The last act was very disappointing, the ending sudden and unsatisfying. One of the few plays that just doesn't work for the screen.
