Review of The Bad Seed (1956) by Phuck Hoff — 24 Feb 2009
Little Rhoda is like all pretty little girls, made of sugar and spice, and everything nice... or is she? Campy at times, sure -- but the acting is great for what it's worth -- and considering when this film was made (and of course, the first time I saw it as a child) it's quite disturbing material, but compelling all the same.
