The best non-musical film of Vincente Minnellis career with a brilliant cast. Neither Lana Turner nor Kirk Douglas were ever better, but it was the always wonderful Gloria Grahame, who won an Oscar. Masterfully scriptet and produced, this one you do not want to miss.
