Review of The Bachelor and the Bobby-Soxer (1947) by Matt K — 13 Apr 2009
This is a charming though ultimately harmless comedy starring Cary Grant, but what is really note worthy is one of his co-stars: 19 year old Shirley Temple. Gone is the precocious kid singing songs about candy-named boats and let me introduce you to a fun young adult with great comedic timing and plenty of charisma.
She's great and should have done more work as an adult. If you like classics, check this out!
