Review of The Babysitters (2008) by Gabriela R — 30 Mar 2008
What would Jack Mcoy say about this film! Sam waterstons dauther, katherine, gives a comanding performance as an akward teenager who finds a renewed sense of self in her affair with a married man, and also starts a call girl service in the process.
The story is mostly sad though I didn't feel that director was guiding you to feel one way or another about it. It gets a bit hard to watch at times, but overall the story isn't about the ending or the consequences to their actions.
..but more about this life exchanging experience. I don't think anyone gets out easy, though you could say that the married man who loved her didn't loose much.
