Review of The Babysitter (2017) by Lucky B — 20 Oct 2017
I really loved this this film. The most remembered thing about this movie was the bond between Bee and Cole is amazingly done and unique when compared other films like this. I can clearly see that Cole is secretly crushing on Bee and it seems that Bee also have somekind of feelings towards Cole. Jokes are fun and edgy just like it should be in these movies.
The only disappointing thing about this film was that ending. I was confused that filmakers literally throwed that Bee and Cole's character chemistry to trash but I guess it seems justifiable if there is follow-up sequel in works. I also hope that we could see sequel that continues where this film left of.
This movie is worth watching in late nights especially on Halloween. Jokes are funny and edgy. If you like over-stereotyped teens then I absolutely recommend this. This movie combines dark comedy with good horror gore elements that takes opposite route compared other horror movies where teens are chased by psychotic kille but in this movie teens are the killers.
Even though this was directed McG I think this is the best McG's directed movie so far so probs to him. This movie clearly surpassed my expectation.
8/10 for me.
