Review of The Babadook (2014) by Markymark — 30 Nov 2014
The Babadook is a well-acted, entertaining and quite affecting film. But it is not scary at all. And the creature itself is ineffectual to the point of being funny - completely killing any sense of tension the movie builds.
Worth seeing, but not if you're hoping to be terrified.
