Review of The Babadook (2014) by Daroczi — 06 Jan 2015
Great acting, but there's no relate-able characters. There's a despicable mother, a headache-inducing child, everything is dark grey, the mood is depression and sadness from start to finish, and the horror elements are straight out of any other ghost movie, except that I didn't find them well executed in any way.
I didn't care in the least if everyone in the film died. I'm not saying it's a bad film, I'm giving the reasons why I hated it.
