Review of The Babadook (2014) by Twig T — 23 Jul 2016

Massive disappointment. I expected a new and interesting approach to horror like that of "it follows", but babadook was laughably bad. I literally could only laugh at the jump scares. The characters were unlikable and annoying, and the ending felt muddy and distracted like the ending of a nightmare where you almost kinda win.

I wouldn't say it's a complete waste of time... but close.
