The few negative user reviews you see here and their explanations for why they think this film is bad demonstrates why most modern American horror films cater to lowest common denominator who need cheap scares every minute and for their hand to be held throughout.
Indie and foreign horror films like this are saving the horror genre from completely falling to trash and mediocrity being pushed out of Hollywood.
