Review of The Babadook (2014) by Hidi H — 06 Nov 2015
It succeeds in scaring its audience without the need for loud noises surrounded by silence. It's held even higher by Essie Davis' performance and the realistic, relatable plot. But whilst its nice to see a film following the principle of fear of the unknown you still want to know what it is you should be afraid of otherwise the fear gets lost.
