I don't normally find any movies to be scary, but sometimes I find them to be unsettling. The Babadook is a great example of that. It can be difficult to know what is real and what isn't with this movie.
I sort of got the feeling that the real monster was the one inside. In any case, The Babadook is well written, well shot, and well directed.
