Review of The Babadook (2014) by Billy S — 20 Jun 2018
To reiterate a perhaps overused phrase, the Babadook is a film that is hauntingly beautiful. This film has tremendous heart and sincerity with an ending that reminds us that we can't eliminate grief and depression entirely, but we can come to terms with it.
Not only that, there was some terrific use of practical effects and clever cinematography that should satisfy horror fans.
