Review of The Awful Truth (1937) by Adam C — 22 Dec 2008
Smooth, sexy and hilarious 70 years after it was made, which says a lot about the potency of the original smoothness, sexiness and humor. Cary Grant is pitch-perfect, of course, but the real revelation is Irene Dunne, who almost steals the film with her smarts, sass and beauty.
But, hey, even their dog is funny. It's just that good.
