Review of The Awful Truth (1937) by John G — 31 May 2009
Watch this movie from Hollywood's golden age and compare it to a modern counterpart and you'll see much film making has regressed. This was one terrific film and had a couple of things that many modern movies lack 1) good acting ... 2) meaningful dialouge.
I'm tempted to give it the full five stars and you know what I can honestly say I don't think I've seen a bad Cary Grant movie.
