Review of The Awful Truth (1937) by Jeff B — 15 Jun 2011
Hysterical movie starring Cary Grant and Irene Dunne as a divorcing couple who can't seem to stay away from each other. There were so many parts that made me laugh out loud, Grant and Dunne are perfect together, and Bellamy ruled as well.
The scene with Grant sitting in the chair was great, but I think my favorite moment was the entire scene with Grant, the music teacher, Dunne, Bellamy, and Mr. Smith. When Grant saw that the music teacher was in the same room, I busted out laughing, it was perfect And Mr.
Smith should have won Best Supporting Actor. Bravo.
