Review of The Awful Truth (1937) by Chris S — 15 Aug 2008
Recommended to me by a screenwriter friend because my rom com is similar in spirit to this film made over, um, 70 years ago! Wow. Engaging banter, Cary Grant is pretty charismatic, I guess I get the reputation now.
Irene Dunne is spunky. But the best character in the film is Mr. Smith, the little terrier they fight over in their divorce.
