Review of The Awful Truth (1937) by James H — 27 Feb 2010
Cary Grant and Irene Dunne are fantastically funny together in this silly comedy about a couple getting divorced. Grant has great comic timing, but what kept me laughing was his reactions to Dunne and her antics.
Dunne does well with the comic banter and keeps good time with Grant. Ralph Bellamy also shows up as a dopey straight shooter from out west. Enjoy.
