Review of The Awakening (2011) by John K — 04 Feb 2013

I really liked "The Awakening" except for the very puzzling last few scenes of the film. The acting is first rate as is the cinematography and the settings. I didn't expect the plot twists and thought the whole time how much more I like the British approach to ghost/horror movies than the slice and dice American approach.

If you liked "The Woman in Black," "The Innkeepers," "The Others," etc, its a good bet you'll like this one as well!
