Review of The Awakening (2010) by Dan O — 28 Aug 2012

'The Awakening' was rather fresh. The story, setting and overall plot was quite different compared to your typical horror film but the film wasn't engaging at all. It took a while to get going and by the time that happened I was already bored and couldn't care less.

There are a few good twists and turns along the way but 'The Awakening' is nothing more than an average horror film due to it's dull script and direction.
