Review of The Awakening (2010) by Galaxy Quest P — 14 Mar 2013
It does have its share of moments that make it quite an enjoying thriller to watch. The story is quite strong, it has moments of predictability, but overall it never tries too hard and doesn't spiral out of control.
The effects aren't great and the thriller parts never get too scary, but it does have some good "pop out" moments. Hall is great and really helps the story along and carries it from scene to scene and keeps it together just enough to make it enjoyable.
