Review of The Awakening (2010) by Paul S — 06 Jan 2015

I had hopes that this would at least be minimally interesting. The story moves at a snail's pace and winds up lame to me in the end. I'm not quite sure how to adequately review this movie without spoiling it by pointing out how there are many circumstances that just don't convince me that the main character has repressed memories.

In many senses, this movie was executed well. I liked it visually and I liked the casting. Many decent elements were there and were sadly derailed by the story's weak points. I wouldn't watch this again.
