Joss Whedon's The Avengers is a truly amazing entry in this growing Marvel Cinematic Universe, and a great film overall. I loved how the film built up it's characters and didn't just plop them together and them automatically get along.
The characters didn't always get along and I loved that. All of the casting is perfect especially Tom Hiddleston's Loki. The action scenes also look amazing and the story is pretty great. In the end, I love this film and it is a great ending for Phase One of the MCU.
I will give this film a 9.
