Review of The Avengers (2012) by Ben B — 21 Aug 2018
This is it, after 5 over movies that developed our heroes and showed us who these people really are, it is time for the Avengers to finally Assemble on the big screen for the first time and it was the ultimate payoff.
This film is fantastic, it was a great pay off after 5 movies. The best thing about the Avengers us how these heroes interact with one another and their chemistry. The Avengers were all played brilliantly, Robert Downey Jr.
is once again perfect as Iron Man, Chris Evans is just as brave as Captain America as he was in his original film, Chris Hemsworth performance improved massively over Thor and new comer Mark Ruffalo was the best Bruce Banner ever put to screen.
The rest of the cast were great and Samuel L. Jackson, alongside Robert Downey Jr. and Heath Ledger's Joker, is probably the best casting decision that has ever happened in a superhero film.
