Review of The Avengers (1998) by Ttt C — 14 Jun 2010
Sadly, the film just can't be taken seriously, for it doesn't seem like it (or the cast) took it seriously during production. Perhaps one of the worst characters and performances I've seen by Sean Connery.
The script and story doesn't seem focused or thought out. As a kid, I enjoyed watching the original series with my father. For now, I will enjoy those memories more than those of this film. There are better spy/secret agent films out there chose from.
