Review of The Atomic Submarine (1959) by Al M — 30 Jan 2009
Fun little late 50s sci-fi B-Movie that asks one fundamental question: couldn't flying saucers travel predominately under water? Huh? have you ever thought of that? That they disappear so quickly because they dive into the ocean? The Atomic Submarine is ultimately laughable especially in its naive, propagandistic position on militarism and atomic weaponry.
Still, though, a really fun film for fans of cheesy sci-fi cinema.
