I know this has won prices. It was also visually very beautiful. Nature, flowing silk, candles and jewelry. But I have to admit it was too slow for me, could not concentrate to the stillness, especially as I had not read any explanations of the story and it was relatively hard to follow, who was who and why they did what they did.
Like the part where a woman fakes her period with chicken blood, as she is pregnant. It was never explained why this was such an outrage. It was just.... weird.
