At first, I thought this would just be a 1950 version of The Sting. Which would have been just fine. But it was more like The Sting mixed with Chinatown's bleakness. Outstanding cast, magnificent movie, and did I mention you get a young and unfairly gorgeous Marilyn Monroe playing someone's mistress?
