Review of The Art of Travel (2008) by Galina M — 30 Jul 2009
While I'm a sucker for personal journeys that course through exotic lands with beautiful women and justifying revelations, this movie fell flat. Christopher Masterson is very likable, but his situations were ridiculous, as were his sexual exploits and his luck at having gorgeous girlfriend Angelika Baran. Actually everything about him as the lead was unbelievable. He did a decent job, it was the script and the casting that were wrong.
Not bad for an apparently low-budget, but it tried to have too much Hollywood flash and cliche candy, while losing the soul of the title itself.
