The Art of Getting By is the story about not fitting in and falling in love, making friends and discovering who you really are.

This movie might not be as good as you hope for after having seen the trailer, but it's not bad either. This movie shows that there's always something worth fighting for, the only thing you have to do is find it.

Freddie Highmore and Emma Roberts were great together. Highmore carried the whole movie and it was nice to see him in this type of character for once. The chemistry was good between them and the storyline was different which made you wanting to continue watching it.

Although I found the movie a bit too short and it felt like the main happening happened a bit too late. Nothing really happened in the movie to be honest and when the end came along it was hard to comprehend what it was that had actually happened in it.

But other than that it was quite an entertaining movie with a rather different storyline that's definitely worth a watch, but probably not a movie you'll watch more than twice.
