Review of The Apple (1998) by Mystery : — 06 Mar 2008
The Appel is a living proof that Iranian filmaking have something that the rest of the world lack! The story is a mixture of reality and fiction and gives a unsentimental look into the debate of the womans right and life hidden away from the outside world.
A beautiful honest film, that dares to talk about a subject that has been so imposibel to even comment on a few years back...and is still a hard subject! This film is a living proof that you don't need expensive cameraes and wellknown actresses to make real poetic and amazing films!! This film is one of the best in emotions!
