Review of The Animatrix (2003) by Nick C — 02 Aug 2008
This was a great collection of shorts that enlightened me more of the Matrix universe. I was particularly awed at "The Second Renaissance" (both parts) and how each event depicted led to the eventual enslavement of humankind.
The animation was cool, from all different animators, and each story was well developed. The only drawback was the fact that the majority of the whole series had really sad/tragic endings. I was hoping more for half and half, but oh well.
Still good, though.
