Review of The Angry Birds Movie (2016) by Rebootsss S — 28 May 2016

Stupid fun, especially at the beginning. Half an hour too long. The Mighty Eagle 2-D (old-fashioned) animated sequence had a Warner Bros sensibility that lead me to believe an even funnier movie was hiding under all that overdone computer animation.

Realistic feathers are impressive, but, they are not funny. That said, a few Angry Birds shorts done with a nod to Friz Freleng and Chuck Jones would be a real treat. We shall see.
