I am absolutely shocked. Sony, arguably the worst animation company in the business, made the first good video game movie. And it's about Angry Birds. ANGRY. BIRDS. This is a feat not previously accomplished.
What makes it good? The story is mostly bland. The music is rather forgettable. But the crown jewel of this movie are the characters, and dear God there's a lot of 'em. The main characters, Red, Bomb, and Chuck, are all quite well written and are pretty dang funny, if you ask me.
Overall, it's decent. Not great, just decent.
